New STEM director hired for Snohomish County
Washington Alliance for Better Schools and the Economic Alliance of Snohomish County have hired Deborah Squires as the director of the Snohomish County Regional STEM Network. She has more than 20 years of experience in communications, nonprofit management and education. She served formerly as the vice president of communications at United Way of Snohomish County and director of community engagement at Northwest Harvest.
Roy Robinson raises money for Everett Animal Shelter
Roy Robinson Chevrolet-Subaru &RV Center in Marysville was able to donate a total of $1,300 plus pet supplies to the Everett Animal Shelter as a result of its Subaru Loves Pets event in October. The company had promised to donate $10 to the Everett Animal Shelter for each new test drive customers took in that month.
Economic Alliance plans Business After Hours networking event
The next Economic Alliance Snohomish County Business After Hours event will offer networking connections for ambassadors, investors, and guests at the Harbour Pointe Golf Club. Diamond Knot serves Thanksgiving meal for those in need
Both Diamond Knot Craft Brewing locations served special Thanksgiving meals to those in need. On Thanksgiving Day, The Brewery &Alehouse in Mukilteo opened its doors to Esther’s Place, a day center for homeless women and children in Snohomish County. The Brewpub @ MLT, located in Mountlake Terrace, opened its doors to the community’s homeless through several organizations.
