The Donald Trump says he might use Air Force One and park his own Trump Force One if he wins in the 2016 presidential election.
“Well look there’s something very special about Air Force One,” Trump told ABC News on Wednesday. “Let’s face it, it represents something very, very special, like the White House represents something.”
In true Trump style, his comment is a complete flip from a few months ago when he said his Boeing 757 was better than the two Boeing 747s used to fly the U.S. president around. (The two planes are commonly called Air Force One, but that is actually the callsign used for whichever airplane the president is in.)
“I bought this from Paul Allen and gutted it top to bottom,” Trump told Rolling Stone. “It’s bigger than Air Force One, which is a step down from this in every way. Rolls-Royce engines; seats 43.”
For the record, a Boeing 757 is much smaller than a 747.
