Notable: Seattle went with its starters on the defensive line more than usual, particularly inside with Brandon Mebane and Ahtyba Rubin, who have been playing fewer than half the snaps in recent weeks. That would presumably be a result of expecting St. Louis to concentrate on running the ball. Jeremy Lane received most of the snaps as the second cornerback, though he and DeShawn Shead did rotate through the game.
