Here’s a reason to go out and play in the rain.
Art that is activated by water. It’s invisible until it rains then — shazam! — it appears on the pavement.
Former Marysville resident Peregrine Church gained international acclaim for his Rainworks street art and positive messages on sidewalks in the Seattle area and beyond. Church was featured in a Herald “What’s Up With That?” story for his creations in Lynnwood.
Now you can make your own rain art with a kit of his company’s Invisible Spray, which comes with pre-printed stencil material. One bottle ($29) covers about 15 square feet with two coats. It lasts several months. More at rain.works/invisiblespray.
