SEATTLE — Burn bans for Snohomish and Pierce counties were lifted at noon on Saturday.
The Puget Sound Clean Air Agency says there are no bans in effect in its jurisdiction. Officials expect pollution spikes Saturday night but they should not trigger burn bans through Sunday evening.
A stronger weather front is expected by Monday that is expected to bring better air quality into early next week. The agency noted a small chance of reissuing a burn ban Sunday if pollution levels rise higher than expected.
