Is Marshawn Lynch enigmatic? Yes. Is Marshawn Lynch mercurial and does things his own way? Yes indeed. With that being said, I’ll ask one more question: Is Marshawn Lynch a team player? He sure is, and the way he has put his body on the line for these Seahawks teams over the last six seasons shows that.
For the last two letter writers who claim he is greedy and not about this team? Spare me. I do believe he will be gone after this season, but that is because there is a salary cap in the NFL and we need the space to sign other players that would be more beneficial to keeping a perennial championship contender in place. But to disparage Marshawn because he felt like he couldn’t help the team in Minnesota last week is utterly ridiculous. I would rather have him at 100 percent in 40 degree Carolina than 80 percent in a frozen Minneapolis stadium. Go Hawks!
