Cascade | Boys Basketball

Gotell, a senior, scored 28 points in a win over Mariner and had 18 in a 61-59 win over Kamiak, including the game-winning shot as time expired.

Madeline Smith

Snohomish | Girls Basketball

Smith, a senior, had 17 points and 10 rebounds to help Snohomish hold off Monroe and stay perfect in Wesco 4A so far this season at 7-0.

Wyatt Butler

Snohomish | Wrestling

Butler won the 170-pound weight class at the Marysville Pilchuck Premier tournament Saturday, beating No. 2 ranked Keith Pablo of Marysville Pilchuck 11-9 in the championship match.

Aric Prieve

Shorecrest | Boys Swimming

Prieve won the 50-yard freestyle and the 500 freestyle and was on a winning relay in a win over Everett. He also won the 200 freestyle, the 100 butterfly and was on two winning relays in dual meet wins over Mountlake Terrace and Edmonds-Woodway.

Candice Goldfinch

Everett | Girls Bowling

Goldfinch bowled games of 200, 214 and 248 for a 662 series in a win over Bush, keeping the Seagulls undefeated this season at 13-0.
