Lynnwood’s prime location and rich array of retail, restaurant and recreation offerings make it an attractive option to new residents and a home that is deeply loved by established citizens.

“We offer an unparalleled location at the convergence of I-5 and I-405, making it easy to get to the east side of Seattle,” said Project and Tourism Manager Mary Monroe.

“We have a wide variety of housing types, strong single-family neighborhoods and a growing stock of apartments and condos.”

Lynnwood also boasts an average of 1.7 jobs for every household, the upcoming addition of light rail and strong schools.

“Our city is served by the Edmonds School District, which is highly regarded in the region,” Monroe said.

Higher education options are also available, including Edmonds Community College and a branch campus of Central Washington University.

Recreation opportunities abound, including more than 350 acres of parks and 14 miles of trails.

“The newly renovated Recreation and Aquatic Center is a huge community assets,” Monroe said.

It offers an incredible amount of amenities, including a water playground, lazy river, five polls, classes, and a fitness center.

Avid shoppers enjoy the Alderwood Mall, home to over 175 restaurants and shops.

Food options are numerous throughout the rest of the town as well.

“There are dozens of wonderful one-of-a-kind ethnic eateries in Lynnwood in addition to all the favorite chains,” Monroe said.

“Basically, Lynnwood has what anyone could want in terms of shopping and dining.”
