SEATTLE — A spokeswoman for Harborview Medical Center says the woman shot in the Renton theater is out of intensive care.
Susan Gregg says the woman was in satisfactory condition on Saturday morning.
The man accused in the shooting is scheduled to appear in court on Saturday afternoon.
Seattle police says the apparently intoxicated 29-year-old accidentally shot the woman at the Regan Cinemas at The Landing in Renton on Thursday night.
The Seattle Times reports the man tried to dump the weapon after the shooting.
Renton police spokesman Detective Robert Onishi says the man threw away the gun’s magazine in the trash at the theater. His family called 911 after hearing about the shooting in local news coverage.
