Apparently some sort of big music announcement is happening today involving Safeco Field in Seattle and Live Nation.
Monday morning I received an email from Live Nation inviting me to a press conference to be held at Safeco Field at 10 a.m. today to announce what they are calling “a major concert event.”
This is the first time I have ever seen Live Nation invite the media to a press conference to announce a show. Needless to say, I am speculating a lot at the moment. So far I have been told with certainty by someone who knows about these things that it is not Pearl Jam.
Not going to get into all of the rumors here, but we will have an answer very soon. At the very least this mystery is pretty exciting.
