What: Dracaena Marginata, commonly called the Dragon Plant, is an excellent choice for an indoor plant, as it is easy to grow and adds vertical interest to the room. This dracaena works well as a single plant behind a piece of furniture, or as part of a grouping of potted plants of varying sizes. The shiny green leaves are stiff and pointed and have striking red margins. It is sensitive to fluoride so distilled or purified water is recommended. Dracaena is one of the plants used in the NASA Clean Air Study that assist in the removal of formaldehyde from indoor air.
Sun/shade: Needs bright light for best coloration
Size: A slow grower, it will reach approximately 15’ in height in a large container.
