I’m about to depart on vacation, so I figured I’d provide the links for my final stories before disappearing for a couple weeks.
First, my contribution to Super Bowl 50 coverage was tracking down Shiloh Keo’s parents. Keo, who plays safety for the Denver Broncos, is a graduate of Archbishop Murphy High School. Needless to say, his parents are extremely proud of him.
Second, here’s my final column out of the Seattle Mariners’ pre-spring training media luncheon. This one deals with new Mariners farm directory Andy McKay, whose background is in sports psychology, and how that will change Seattle’s player-development model. I’m not sure whether this approach is visionary or crackpot, but I’m very curious to see if it works.
Anyway, that’s it for now. See you in late February.
