Put Mill Creek on the map
The city is working with Google to make sure local businesses come up in online searches.
The project is aimed at boosting economic development in Mill Creek. Businesses can sign up to be included in Google searches and maps for free.
The city is hosting workshops to help. They are scheduled at 6 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Saturday at City Hall.

March for Babies: The Snohomish County March for Babies Kickoff event is set for 12-1 p.m. Feb. 11 at Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave., Mukilteo. Mill Creek cancellation: The City Council has called off its meeting on Tuesday evening.
The next one is scheduled for 6 p.m. Feb. 23 at City Hall.
New meeting schedule: The Monroe fire district board of commissioners is changing its meeting times and locations. The Monroe district is in the process of merging with Fire District 7, based in Clearview. The joint board meetings now are planned for 7 p.m. Thursdays, twice a month. The second Thursday of every month, the boards will meet at Fire Station 31 at 163 Village Court, Monroe. The fourth Thursday’s meeting will be at Fire Station 71 at 8010 180th Street SE in the Clearview area of unincorporated Snohomish.
