Anti-Valentine’s Day party: The Lake Stevens Library is hosting an anti-Valentine’s Day event from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday. Paint and help: The Assistance League of Everett Kitty Young Auxiliary plans its 2016 spring fundraiser for 12 to 3 p.m. April 16. Learn CPR: Snohomish County Fire District 1 is offering two CPR classes in February as part of American Heart Month. A free class offers brief training and anyone can drop in from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 16 at Red Onion Burgers, 21005 44th Ave. W, Mountlake Terrace. A more intensive class, which costs $70, runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at district headquarters, 12425 Meridian Ave. S., Everett. The Everett class requires registration.
