EVERETT — The Everett Police Department is investigating an overnight hit-and-run collision that ended with one of the vehicles colliding with a natural gas pump at a gas station in the 900 block of W Casino Road.
The two-vehicle crash occurred just after 10 p.m., Everett police reported early Friday.
The vehicle that was struck ran into a natural gas pump. The other vehicle left the scene and was found abandoned about a block away.
The driver whose car struck the pump was not seriously injured and stayed at the scene, police said.
A building in the Parkside Apartments complex and a nearby mini-mart were evacuated as a precaution.
Puget Sound Energy and the Everett Fire Department were on the scene.
