The South Sound Spirit Gathering: The Washington Distillers Guild presents The South Sound Spirit Gathering March 12 at Olympic Flight Museum, Building A, 7637 Old Highway 99 SE, Tumwater. The festival features 18 Washington distilleries, including Lynnwood’s Temple Distilling and Snohomish’s Skip Rock Distillers. Tickets are available at brownpapertickets.com/event/2495620. Shamrock Shuffle Wine and Beer Walk: The Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Shamrock Shuffle Wine and Beer Walk from 5 to 8 p.m. March 12 at Country Village, 23718 Bothell-Everett Highway in Bothell. The event includes wine and beer tastings from a range of select Washington wineries and breweries. Tickets, which include 10 tasting tokens, can be purchased for $20 at bothellchamber.com/html/ShamrockShuffle_2016.php until March 11 or at the door for $25. The event is bring your own glass or glasses can be purchased for $5.

Bacon, Eggs &Kegs: Enjoy local food and beer at Bacon, Eggs &Kegs, 11 a.m. March 13 at CenturyLink Field in Seattle. Enjoy tastes from over 60 breweries and cideries, including Gallagher’s Where-U-Brew and Lazy Boy Brewing. Tickets are $40 and include 12 tasting tokens. Tickets can be purchased at www.baconeggsandkegs.com.

Washington Cask Beer Festival: The Washington Brewers Guild will host its 2016 Washington Cask Beer Festival March 19 at Seattle Center Exhibition Hall. Sample a wide variety of cask-conditioned beers from more than 40 Washington breweries, including local breweries American Brewing, Beardslee Public House and Diamond Knot Brewing. There will be two sessions: noon to 4 p.m. and 6 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $40 advance and $45 at the door, and include a tasting glass and up to 25 tastes. Harley’s &Hops: Emerald City Harley in Lynnwood will host Harley’s &Hops from 6 to 9 p.m. March 25 at 5711 188th St. SW, Lynnwood. There will be 15 local breweries pouring beer, including Diamond Knot, Dreadnought Brewing and Whitewall Brewing, three live bands and a barbecue. Tickets are $25 in advance at seattleuncorked.com or $30 at the door. Proceeds benefit The Washington State Council of Firefighters Burn Foundation.

Seattle Scotch &Beer Fest: The Seattle Scotch &Beer Fest is March 25 and 26 at Fremont Studios, 155 N. 35th St., Seattle. Enjoy flights of Scotch, including tastes from Northwest distilleries like Hood River Distillery and Sound Distillery. Fish Tales &Ales: The second annual Casting for Recovery fundraiser Fish Tales &Ales is March 26 at Flycaster Brewing in Kirkland. Tickets include food, drinks, music and silent and live auctions. Casting for Recovery aims to enhance the quality of life of women with breast cancer through a program that combines breast cancer education and peer support with the therapeutic sport of fly fishing.

Brush ‘n’ Brew: Vine and Palette presents Brush ‘n’ Brew at SnoTown Brewery in Snohomish from 7 to 9 p.m. March 31. Vine and Palette will walk customers through instructions on creating their own art while they sip craft beer. No experience necessary. Tickets are $35 and include materials and a two-hour lesson. Taste of the Northwest: Bethany’s 11th annual Taste of the Northwest is 5 p.m. April 15 at Xfinit Arena’s Edward D. Hansen Conference Center Grand Ballroom. There will be a number of local wineries and breweries, food and live music. There will also be a silent auction and raffle giveaway. Tickets are $25. Stogies ‘N Hops second anniversary: Lynnwood’s Stogies ‘N Hops will celebrate its second anniversary from noon to 5 p.m. April 9 at 526 164th St. SW, Lynnwood. Deschutes Brewing will bring 12 beers on tap. There will be cigars and Korean barbecue. Proceeds benefit Thrive Tutoring Program for Kids.

STEM: Science Uncorked: Enjoy an evening sampling some of Washington’s wines while exploring the science of the vine at 7 p.m. April 22 at Pacific Science Center. Tickets, $45 for general admission and $40 for PSC members, include unlimited tastings from participating wineries and appetizers paired with various wine selections.
