PORT ORCHARD — A 21-year-old man accused of stabbing his grandfather to death has pleaded guilty.
The Kitsap Sun reported that William Bradley Jackson III on Friday entered a guilty plea in the death of his grandfather, 90-year-old Hurene “Hap” Bradley Jackson. William Jackson is scheduled to be sentenced for premeditated first-degree murder on April 29.
William Jackson called 911 on Dec. 15 after stabbing his grandfather to tell deputies what he had done. Immediately after the slaying, he posted on social media about his crime.
Jackson entered his plea without an agreement in place with prosecutors. He could face between 20 and 27 years in prison.
