EVERETT — A stolen pickup crashed into a home on the 1500 block of Maple Avenue on Saturday afternoon.
The man driving jumped out of the Chevrolet and ran after hitting the house, Everett police spokesman Aaron Snell said. He had not been found as of Saturday evening.
Snell said the pickup was not being pursued by police at the time of the crash. People were following it and had been providing information on its whereabouts to law enforcement.
The pickup was reported stolen from the 2600 block of Hardeson Road at around 1:30 p.m.
There were no injuries but the house was damaged, Snell said.
