Luke Kuna

Snohomish | Baseball

Kuna, a senior, was the winning pitcher in an 8-1 victory over Stanwood on Tuesday. Kuna also had a home run and two runs scored in Friday’s 10-5 win over Meadowdale.

Sammy Ruiz

Mountlake Terrace | Softball

Ruiz, a sophomore, batted 4-for-4 with three home runs, a double, four runs scored at five RBI in a 9-5 win over Kamiak last Tuesday. Ruiz was also the winning pitcher in an 8-6 win over Edmonds-Woodway on Thursday. She batted 2-for-3 with two runs scored and three RBI against the Warriors.

Dane Evanger

Lynnwood | Boys Soccer

Evanger, a junior, scored three goals in an 8-1 win over Everett on Tuesday and had four goals in a 6-3 win over Oak Harbor on Friday.

Madeline Mahler

Glacier Peak | Girls Tennis

Mahler went 2-0 last week, winning 6-1, 6-2 over Oak Harbor’s Anna Belle Whitefoot and 6-0, 6-0 over Lynnwood’s Auryana Ashoori. The Grizzlies won both matches to stay unbeaten so far this season.

Anthony Hutchinson

Lake Stevens | Boys Track

Hutchinson, a sophomore, won both the long jump and the triple jump at this past Saturday’s Ray Cockrum relays. The Vikings finished first in the team standings.

Taylor Roe

Lake Stevens | Girls Track

Roe, a freshman, won the 1,600 meters by over a minute at the Ray Cockrum relays this past Saturday. The Vikings finished first in the team standings.

Ben Gardner

Snohomish | Boys Golf

Gardner, a senior, shot a one-over 37 to earn medalist honors in a match against Lake Stevens, Mount Vernon and Cascade. The Panthers won the match, edging the Vikings by four strokes.

Kathryn Schalk

Edmonds-Woodway | Girls Golf

Schalk shot an eight-over 42 for medalist honors in a victory over Lynnwood last Wednesday. Schalk and the Warriors won the match by 78 strokes.

Joseph Doyle

Archbishop Murphy | Boys Lacrosse

Doyle scored five goals and had two assists in an 18-3 win over Cascade last Thursday. It was the first game of the season for Archbishop Murphy.
