In response to two anti-Sound Transit letters written in Tuesday’s paper, I’d like to point out that while both railed against Sound Transit and “liberals” who support it, neither of them offered any constructive suggestions of how to resolve our very real transportation issues. If you don’t want to pay for mass transit, what is your alternative? More roads cost taxpayer dollars too, and will fill up more quickly than a mass transit system. It’s easy to complain, much harder to actually find workable solutions.
