The Seahawks are bringing Chris Clemons back.
Seattle announced Friday afternoon it has agreed to terms with the free agent defensive end. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 34-year-old Clemons is entering his 12th season in the NFL. That includes spending 2010-13 with the Seahawks, a span in which he recorded 38 sacks and was a part of Seattle’s Super Bowl champions. He spent the past two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars, recording eight sacks in 2014 and three last season.
Clemons will be asked to aid Seattle’s pass rush, which took a hit when linebacker Bruce Irvin departed to sign with the Oakland Raiders.
