Regarding the article, “PUD to consider monthly meter readings in costly billing fix”: Snohomish County PUD gives every indication of being the typical bureaucratic organization with too many people on the payroll with not enough to do, sitting around dreaming up worthless and/or unnecessary costly changes.
There is an old adage that covers the problem, i.e., “If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it.”
To which I would add, fire the deadwood.
