SEATTLE — The Highway 520 Bridge to be closed across Lake Washington this weekend so highway workers can switch the westbound lanes onto the new floating bridge.
Commuters driving from Seattle’s eastern suburbs into Seattle on Monday morning are expected to be traveling on the new bridge.
The bridge is scheduled to reopen in both directions at 5 a.m. Monday.
Transportation officials plan to switch the eastbound lanes in two weeks.
