In his Monday letter, George Schlosser of Lake Stevens faults the Marysville School District for “fiscal irresponsibility” and “grandiose dreams.”
Seems to me that anyone familiar with the needs and issues addressed by the school bond now before Marysville voters will find only prudent foresight and planning. There is nothing “grandiose” about preparing our current and future youth for lives as responsible adults.
Kudos to our school district for exercising fiscal responsibility while best serving the needs of Marysville residents during economic recovery from the housing-bust fiasco.
