Fred Meyer, QFC to offer fruit snacks in-store for kids
Local Fred Meyer and QFC stores have demonstrated they are committed to children’s health and nutrition by rolling out a new in-store snack program. The stores now have a small display in the produce area from which children may choose a free piece of fruit to snack on while they shop with their parents.
EdCC hosts career fair, Latino family night and more
Edmonds Community College is hosting a variety of events to engage and celebrate the community in April. Island County makes changes to tourism program
The Island County tourism program, funded by a portion of the revenue collected under the state Lodging Tax Excise Statutes, has recently been changed. To address these changes, a workshop will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. May 4 in the Island County Annex Building, Commissioners’ Hearing Room, B102, 1 NE Sixth St., Coupeville. Health and fitness expo planned in Edmonds
