Your Tubmans welcome: Harriet Tubman, the 19th century African-American abolitionist who was born a slave, will replace President Andrew Jackson, a slave owner who led brutal military campaigns against Native Americans, on the front of the $20 bill.
Anybody who is upset by moving Bloody Andy Jackson off the front of the new $20 bill should feel free to mail their Tubmans to The Buzz, in care of this newspaper.
Yuuuge long shots: Democrat Bernie Sanders and Republican Ted Cruz now face virtually insurmountable odds in their bids to surpass Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump for their parties’ presidential nominations.
Cruz and Sanders actually have a better chance of winning a big jackpot on the dollar slots at one of Trump’s casinos.
Don’t know much about history: On this day in 1986, millions watched a live show called “The Mystery of Al Capone’s Vaults,” in which Geraldo Rivera opened the Chicago gangster’s vault to discover random debris.
Since then, Rivera has continued to deliver random debris as a C-list host on Fox News.
