Yes, I am writing today about the added, missed and/or misspelled words in the newspaper that I’m finding. It seems that it is happening more often and it distracts from reading the article. As an example, in the April 18 paper, on the front page in the Buzz section; they are talking about “a music festival on Oct. 7 through the 9 at in Indio, California.” I haven’t read the rest of the paper yet. I am not the greatest writer or speller, and certainly not perfect, yet I feel if you are writing for a newspaper you need to have better proofreaders. I am truly not trying to offend anyone, I just want to be able to read without having to reread a sentence to make sense of it. I know there are more important things happening in this world than this, but it bugs me. Thanks for hearing me out.
