GRAHAM — A man who police say killed his wife and then shot himself in their Pierce County home has died.
The Pierce County Medical Examiner says 36-year-old Kerry Anderson died Sunday. His wife, 32-year-old Jessica Anderson, died at the scene Saturday.
The News Tribune says Kerry Anderson had been taken to St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, where he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Pierce County sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer says investigators believe Anderson, a former member of the military, shot his wife in their Graham home Saturday morning. They believe he recently lost his job and suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder.
The couple’s three young children were home at the time but were not hurt. A 4-year-old boy called police to say his parents were on the floor after a problem at the home.
