Chase Carpenter

Monroe | Baseball

Carpenter, a senior, pitched a complete game three-hitter and struck out seven in the Bearcats 5-0 win over Cascade on Wednesday. Carpenter and the Bearcats, who are fighting for a playoff spot, handed the first-place Bruins just their second league loss of the season.

Ethan Hopkins

Edmonds-Woodway | Boys Soccer

Hopkins, a senior, scored both of Edmonds-Woodway’s goals in a 2-1 overtime win over Marysville Pilchuck on Friday. The victory helped the Warriors stay in the mix for the Wesco 3A championship.

Alex Indelicato

Kamiak | Boys Lacrosse

Indelicato, a junior, scored seven goals in a win over Sehome-Bellingham on Tuesday. He had seven goals and two assists in a win over Cascade on Thursday and he added four goals and two assists in a win over Meadowdale on Saturday. Kamiak has lost just once all season.

Emma Helm

Meadowdale | Softball

Helm, a junior, batted 2-for-3 with a with four RBI, three runs scored and a home run to lead the Mavericks to an 11-1 win over Everett in five innings on Thursday. The Mavericks are 12-0 this season.

Quinton Borseth

Stanwood | Boys Golf

Borseth, a junior, shot a six-under 64 at Cedarcrest Golf Course last Thursday. Borseth earned medalist honors and also helped the Spartans edge out Arlington for the win in the six-team match.

Morgan Rood

Meadowdale | Girls Golf

Rood shot a seven-over 40 to help the Mavericks to a win over Edmonds-Woodway last Tuesday.

Liz Coughlan

Everett | Girls Tennis

Couglan bounced back after dropping the first set of Tuesday’s match against Stanwood’s Stephanie Brandt with 6-0 wins in the second and third sets to win the match.

Caleb Perry

King’s | Boys Track

Perry, a junior, won the 100 and the 200-meters in a meet with Cedarcrest and Granite Falls last Thursday. Perry finished the 100 in 11.17 seconds and the 200 in 22.48 seconds.

Hannah Aaenson

Lake Stevens | Girls Track

Aaenson won the shot put with a throw of 36 feet, 2.25 inches in last Thursday’s meet against Snohomish. Aaenson helped lead the Vikings to a 102-48 victory.
