EDMONDS — The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office continues to search for missing 16-year-old Tyler Christensen.
Investigators now have reason to believe the teen had made plans to leave his home, sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said Tuesday.
“Detectives would still like to learn of his whereabouts and ensure that he is safe,” she said.
Christensen was last seen April 19 near his home in the Picnic Point area between Edmonds and Mukilteo.
He is described as 5 foot 11, and 145 pounds with blue eyes and light brown hair in a buzz cut. He was wearing a blue T-shirt and blue shorts. He may be carrying a backpack. Anyone with information is asked to call 911. Anonymous tips can be left at 425-388-3845.
