While their best friends sniff around, customers line up Wednesday at a food truck in the parking lot outside Builders Exchange of Washington, where Dawn Ford, of The Seattle Barkery, sells dog and human treats. Most of the early customers work at Builders Exchange, whose dog-friendly offices permit employees to bring small dogs to work with them. Four of them, here are, (from left), Doc, Zoey, Cleo and Zeus. Ford, a 1999 Marysville Pilchuck High School graduate, and her husband, Ben, live in Shoreline. They started the business 11 months ago. Ford said she previously was a dog walker, and had to deal with the rain. Now, with the food truck, she serves other people walking dogs at locations around Snohomish and King counties. The Seattle Barkery uses social media to inform people where it is currently located. Find more information at theseattlebarkery.com, by emailing theseattlebarkery@gmail.com or calling 206-851-1549.
