Let’s put Sound Transit’s unbelievable timeline in perspective: It took six years to build the transcontinental railway (1,776 miles); it took 10 years to build the Panama Canal; it took eight years from groundbreaking to opening ceremony to build Grand Coulee Dam; and it took 22 years (with no machinery) to build the Great Pyramids.
It’s past time for Sound Transit to get real or shelve it. Twenty-five years, really?
