What a delightful story to read about my up-the-street neighbor, Jacquelyn Dreyer, that Andrea Brown wrote in her “What’s Up With That” column on Tuesday, “Wackiness Grows Here.”
We moved into this neighborhood back in 1982. At that time it was a brand new subdivision which was built just below down the hill from her home. I know she’ll know what neighborhood I’m talking about.
We have watched over the past 10 years the transformation of her yard from cookie-cutter to one of the most unique yards I’ve ever seen. I’ve stopped in front of her house so many times over the past years because there would always be something new. One of my favorites is Pete and Elsie. They are always looking out for her.
Jacquelyn is a unique lady and her humor and art are the best! Keep on trucking, Jacquelyn!
