OAK HARBOR — An 18-year-old Coupeville woman was killed early Monday in a crash near Oak Harbor.
Keesha M. Harden was a passenger in a Ford Mustang that collided with a Dodge pickup, according to a Washington State Patrol memo. It happened just before 4:30 a.m. at the intersection of Swantown Road and W. Beach Road, near Joseph Whidbey State Park.
The Mustang’s driver reportedly was southbound and ran a stop sign before the crash.
Harden was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where she succumbed to her injuries. Three others were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The crash remains under investigation.
