Clearly, the overwhelming evidence proves the news, regardless of the medium, is part of the entertainment business. Watching the news or reading it in print declaring vehemence to Trumps’ campaign borders on apoplectic. Yet Donald Trump keeps winning. As a consumer of the “news,” I am fatigued with members of the media describing the masses of supporters as extremists and uninformed when the source of information the “uninformed” supporters receive is the media itself. Maybe, just maybe, the uninformed supporters are just plain tired of being told or advised what they should believe and the media is quaking in their boots realizing they are no longer as effective as they used to be.
This election is clearly shaping up as voting in opposition for who the voter definitely does not want instead of the traditional voting for someone. One of the two unfavorable candidates is going to win, so can we leave out the hysteria?
