“In His Hands”: The Christian rock opera by local composer Susan Olmos returns to the stage after a 30-year hiatus as a benefit for homeless children and teens. Everett Community College: Students perform original comedy sketches at 7 p.m. May 20 at EvCC’s Baker Hall, room 120. EvCC is one of three schools working with SketchFest Seattle members to develop comedy skills. Students will perform at the three schools and end the tour with a show at 7 p.m. May 27 at The Pocket Theatre in Seattle, where they will open for Seattle comedy group Day Job. The show includes mature content. Children age 6 and younger should not attend. Admission is by donation. For more information, call 425-388-9525.

“Urinetown”: Edmonds Heights K-12 school presents this Broadway musical comedy-satire through May 7 at the school, 23200 100th Ave. W., Edmonds. The award-winning show, by Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis, has played to critical and popular success for more than a decade. Performances are at 7 p.m. May 6 and 2 p.m. May 7. Tickets are $7 at the door.

“The Little Mermaid”: Marysville Pilchuck High School presents the Disney musical at 7:30 p.m. May 6 and 7 in the school’s theater. Tickets, $10 for adults and $8 for students and seniors, are available at the door, 12309 22nd St. NE, Marysville.

“White Christmas”: Kamiak High School’s spring musical by Irving Berlin at the school, 10801 Harbour Pointe Blvd., Mukilteo. Shows are 7 p.m. May 6, 7, 13 and 14; and 2 p.m. May 14. Tickets are $15 for adults; $10 for students and seniors. Matinee tickets are $10. Call 425-366-5427.
