EVERETT — Two women have been arrested for investigation of robbery and unlawful imprisonment after allegedly forcing a third woman into a hotel room and shaving her head.
The incident was reported late the night of April 28 in the 2800 block of Pacific Avenue in Everett.
Police were told the suspects, 31 and 25, assaulted the woman and forced her from the parking lot into the hotel room against her will.
The younger suspect is accused of forcing the victim to the ground by pulling her hair.
The older suspect allegedly shaved the woman’s head. Police believe she struck her in the face and head with her fists before cutting off her hair with a pair of shears, “which caused physical pain and injury,” according to court records.
The woman pleaded for them to let her go, court records said.
The pair allegedly stole the woman’s purse, cellphone and $60 as well as the jewelry she was wearing.
One of the suspects reportedly told police that they pulled the woman into the room after she stole from them.
The suspects were booked into the Snohomish County Jail. One was arrested Tuesday morning; the other Wednesday afternoon.
All three have previous criminal records.
