Regarding the article, “Hearing to focus on tax proposal to battle heroin, homelessness”: Well, the Democrat liberals found a new way to con us out of more of our earnings. It’s only pennies on a dollar, it’s only about $95 a year more. Just $95 here, and $100 there and add it all up and it’s in the thousands. I, for one, do not want to throw good money after bad. I, for one, do not want to waste my hard-earned money for a homeless person or a drug addict. How many people out there go to work every day to support their families and try to have things for themselves? Why should they take away from their families and give it to a lost and hopeless cause? Before you know it, just about every homeless person and drug addict will be moving here.
