Field trip: Join Monroe Garden Club on June 13 on a field trip to Falling Water Gardens, 17516 Highway 203, Monroe. Home, sweet, home: Monte Cristo Awards honor Everett property owners who have shown extensive pride in their home or business. Awards are given in three categories: Rejuvenation and Transformation; Pride of the Neighborhood; and Neighborhood-Friendly Business. Deadline for entries is June 15. An awards ceremony is Oct. 13. Nomination forms are available at everettwa.gov/montecristo, Everett Library branches, the city’s Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore, the PUD and local home improvement, paint and lumber stores.
