No, Bunk

Take it outside to the convention, folks: Wendell Pierce, actor on “The Wire” and outspoken Hillary Clinton supporter, was arrested and charged with simple battery in Atlanta over the weekend after getting into a dust-up with some Bernie Sanders supporters in a hotel bar at 3:30 a.m..

As Detective William “Bunk” Moreland would surely remind us, absolutely nothing good can happen in a hotel bar at 3:30 in the morning.

YNot talk politics: A downtown Everett bar sports a new name, menu and look after getting a makeover from Jon Taffer and “Bar Rescue” on the Spike network.

The former YNot Sports Pub &Grub is now the Forbidden Pub, which refers to the new Asian-inspired decor, and perhaps also to the policy on closing-time arguments between Clinton and Sanders supporters.

Don’t know much about history: On this day in 1792, the New York Stock Exchange began with a group of stockbrokers meeting under a tree on Wall Street.

Wall Streeters obviously don’t meet under trees anymore, but some of them do crawl out from under rocks.
