MONROE — After allowing Mount Vernon to score the first two runs of the game, Snohomish scored 13 unanswered to beat the Bulldogs 13-2 in six innings of Tuesday’s 4A District 1 semifinal.
The Panthers advance to Thursday’s championship game where they will Jackson, while Mount Vernon will play a loser-out game against Kamiak.
Sophomores Bailey Greenlee and Joy Winston led the Panthers’ offense. Greenlee finished 3-for-4 with two doubles, five RBI and two runs scored. Winston was 3-for-4 with two doubles, a home run, three RBI and two runs scored.
