Forklift rodeo
Forklift drivers are being sought to compete in forklift rodeos. A Western Washington competition is set for Aug. 20 at the Boeing Kent Space Center, 20403 68th Ave. S, Kent. The winners will go on to a statewide rodeo at the Governor’s Industrial Safety and Health Conference in Spokane this fall. Drivers can register online at www.wagovconf.org/events/forklift-rodeo.
Volunteers: Equestrian Crossings is seeking volunteers to help with an all-inclusive horsemanship program for multiple sclerosis patients Thursdays starting June 2 on Whidbey Island. No prior horse experience is required. Training and time commitments are flexible.
