UW Bothell lecturer receives Fulbright to study public health abroad

University of Washington Bothell lecturer Keya Sen has received a Fulbright Global Scholar Award to conduct public health research in India, China and Bangladesh. Sen is a lecturer and scientific adviser in the School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The Redmond resident will conduct research abroad for two months each in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Bothell’s EagleView Technology partners with Australian firm Spookfish

Bothell’s EagleView Technology Corporation has announced it has entered into a partnership with Spookfish Limited, an Australian company focused on the development and commercialization of premium, next-generation geospatial imagery products and services. Through the partnership, EagleView is granted an exclusive, long-term license to operate Spookfish Capture Platform technologies and sell output products in North America.

SBA, National Gay and Lesbian chamber to hold event in Seattle

A partnership between the Small Business Association and the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce will bring LGBTQ Business Builder education and outreach events to a dozen cities across the country. Locally, the first event is from 12 to 5 p.m. on June 2 at Seattle Central Library, Microsoft Auditorium, 1000 Fourth Ave., Seattle.
