A Wesco 4A/3A All-State feeder game was held on Wednesday at Lake Stevens High School. The two teams were made up of some of the best 3A and 4A players in Snohomish County, with 10 players nominated to participate in the All-State baseball game later this year.
Connor Sayles and Tyler Billings of Lake Stevens were two of the stars of the game. Sayles finished 2-for-3 with two triples, an RBI and two runs scored. Billings finished with two RBI.
Lynnwood’s Brady Girgus also had an inside-the-park home run in the game.
The 10 players nominated to participate in the All-State game were Andrew Bustard (Lake Stevens), Cameron McGrath (Cascade), Ryan Colvin (Cascade), Jake Mulholland (Snohomish), Luke Kuna (Snohomish), Tristan Southard (Marysville Pilchuck), Trent Tinglestad (Marysville Pilchuck), Isaac Olson (Stanwood), Brice Foster (Lynnwood) and David Cooper (Lynnwood).
