Small Business Summit planned this fall in Lynnwood
The North Puget Sound Small Business Summit is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Lynnwood Convention Center. This summit is designed to help small businesses with educational and networking opportunities from public, private and business resources. Windermere volunteers helped plant community garden in Snohomish
Earlier this month, a group of more than 30 volunteers from Windermere Real Estate helped to plant and maintain the Martha Perry Community Veggie Garden in Snohomish as a part of the Windermere Volunteer Day. The garden is a sub-group of the Snohomish Garden Club and serves both the Snohomish and Maltby Food banks.
Security Industry Association honors Larsen
Rep. Rick Larsen has been named Legislator of the Year by the Security Industry Association for his leadership in advancing legislation to encourage school safety. Earlier this year, Larsen launched the School Safety Caucus to focus on best practices for school safety and investments to help schools meet their safety needs.
3-D MakerFest planned in Mukiteo
