LYNNWOOD — The Washington State Department of Transportation is repaving two miles worth of Highway 99 and Highway 525 (Mukilteo Speedway), and the stretch of Lincoln Way between them. Highway 99 is also known as Evergreen Way and Pacific Highway in the section, near Lake Serene.
Improvements aim at a smoother ride — the area was last paved 15 years ago — and improved access for pedestrians with new or upgraded ramps and cut-throughs on traffic islands.
There may be lane and ramp closures during daytime and overnight non-commute hours.
The state set aside $4 million for the project.
