The annual 4A/3A East-West All-State football game will take place at 6 p.m. on July 1 at Gonzaga Prep High School in Spokane.
The game features some of the best senior talent from across the state. This year, there are 13 Wesco players slated to participate in the game. Arlington leads the way with four players including: offensive and defensive lineman Kenny Mills, quarterback and kicker Andrew Kalahar, offensive and defensive lineman Benicio Madrigal-Reis and wide receiver and defensive back Donavan Sellgren.
Other Wesco players scheduled to participate are Marysville Pilchuck linebacker Dylen Boomer, Shorewood wide receiver and defensive back Ronnie Gary, Shorewood running back and linebacker Riley Teeters, Stanwood wide receiver and linebacker Kyle Jackels, Snohomish quarterback and free safety Kobe McDaniel, Kamiak tight end and safety Nate Shubert, Edmonds-Woodway offensive and defensive lineman Michael Swires, Everett offensive and defensive lineman Andrew McLean and Glacier Peak tight end and linebacker Andrew McCoy.
In an interesting twist to even out the rosters, 12 of the 13 players from Wesco will represent the West team, while Arlington’s Mills will play for the East squad.
