The annual Earl Barden East-West Football Classic is set to be held at East Valley High School in Yakima at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 25.
The all-star game features some of the best senior talent from 2A, 1A and B schools through the state.
The Cascade Conference had four players make the rosters, three of which will be playing in Saturday’s game. Cedarcrest wide receiver and defensive back Jeffrey Heppner, Lakewood offensive and defensive lineman Jordan Jira and Edmund Sundquist, a tight end and defensive end from King’s, will be playing for the West team.
Cooper Wright, a running back and inside linebacker from King’s, was also named to the West team, but Wright will not play as he continues to rehab from an injury suffered in the Knights’ run to the 1A state championship game late last year.
