El Centro de la Raza’s Cinco de Mayo Celebration is noon to 4 p.m. May 7, Jefferson Community Center, 3801 Beacon Ave. S., Seattle. The festival has children’s activities, raffle prizes, crafts and food.

Whatever floats your boat: Northwest Paddling Festival is May 6-7 at Lake Sammamish State Park.
