Shawn Starkovich Marine Lance Cpl. Shawn V. Starkovich, 20, of Arlington died July 16, 2007, in a noncombat incident in Anbar province. He served with the 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Division and was buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va. Starkovich graduated from Arlington High School in 2005, but spent most of his high school years at Marysville-Pilchuck High School. He graduated early and was in boot camp when his high school classmates graduated.
